Terms of Service
Plain terms for a plain product. Renew Forge helps a WooCommerce Subscriptions store handle the UK subscription rules and keeps a record of what happened. These terms cover this website, the free plugin and the Renew Forge Pro add-on.
1. Who you are contracting with
Individual Entrepreneur Darya Avakova, Tax ID 534556558, Parkent street 9, apt. 78, Mirzo Ulugbek district, Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan — trading as Avakode. By installing the plugin or buying a licence you accept these terms. Pro licences are sold by Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record; the Paddle Buyer Terms apply to the purchase itself.
2. What Renew Forge does
It adds to WooCommerce Subscriptions a compliance check, a one-click cancel button, cancellation confirmations and an evidence journal (free plugin), and renewal reminders, cooling-off cancellations with refunds, the subscription terms at checkout, SMS reminders and evidence export (Pro). It runs inside your own WordPress installation.
3. What it is, and what it is not
Renew Forge is a tool. It is not legal advice, and it does not guarantee that your store complies with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 or any other law: that also depends on your terms, your prices, your wording and how you run your store. Periods, thresholds and texts are settings with defaults taken from the Act as passed; the regulations that fill in the details are not published yet, and you are responsible for the settings you choose.
Refunds made by the plugin go through your payment gateway, on your instruction as set in the plugin. You remain responsible for your refunds to your customers.
4. The free plugin and the GPL
The PHP source of Renew Forge and Renew Forge Pro is licensed under the GPL v2 or later, consistent with WordPress itself. You may use, study, modify and redistribute it on those terms. What we sell is the licence key, the updates and the support — not a restriction on the code.
5. Pro licences, billing and renewal
A Pro licence is valid for the number of stores of its plan (Store and Store + SMS: one store; Agency: unlimited) and is billed yearly through Paddle. Licences renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date; you can cancel at any time from your Avakode account or by writing to us. If we change prices, the new price applies from your next renewal, never mid-term.
When a licence lapses, the Pro features stop; nothing is deleted, and the free plugin keeps working.
6. Refunds
Fourteen days, no questions asked. The details are in our Refund Policy.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use Renew Forge to process data you have no right to process, do not resell licence keys, and do not attempt to defeat the licence check. Using an Agency licence for your clients' stores is what it is for.
8. Availability and support
The plugin runs on your server, so its availability is yours. What we operate is this website, the licence check and support. We aim to keep them up and to answer support within two business days, but we do not offer a contractual uptime commitment at this stage.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to Renew Forge is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, regulatory penalties or business interruption. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and consumers in the EEA and the UK keep every mandatory protection of their country of residence.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced here and, for licence holders, by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Disputes go to the competent courts of Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence continue to apply.
