Only Renew Forge Pro needs a licence; the free plugin needs none and never contacts a licence server.

Prices are $129 / $259 / $649 a year; a store in the United Kingdom is charged £99 / £199 / £499 instead — Paddle shows the pounds automatically at checkout.
- Where to buy: on avakode.com, from the pricing page or the set builder — Renew Forge is one of the Forge tools, so buying it together with other tools takes the set discount (two tools save 15 %, four save 35 %). The Buy buttons on renewforgewp.com lead to the same checkout. Paddle is the reseller and Merchant of Record and emails the receipt; Avakode emails the licence key to the same address within a few minutes, and the key and the Renew Forge Pro zip are kept in your Avakode account on avakode.com. Refunds: 14 days from the purchase (and from each renewal), no questions asked — see the refund policy on renewforgewp.com.
- The key looks like
FRG-RENE-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX. Enter it under Renew Forge → Licence and press Activate; Check now asks the server again; Release this site frees the slot for another store. A key that does not have this shape is refused on the spot (“That does not look like a licence key (FRG-RENE-…)”). - What is sent: at activation, once a day while a key is saved, and when you release the site (also when the add-on is deactivated or deleted), the add-on sends the key, the product name
renewforgeand the site’s address toapi.avakode.com. Nothing about your customers. If the server cannot be reached, nothing is switched off: paid features keep working on the last known status. A local or staging site does not count against the site limit. - When the licence expires: the reminders, the cooling-off button, the checkout acknowledgement, SMS and updates stop until it is renewed. Nothing is deleted, and the free plugin and its journal keep working.
- Updates: while the licence is active, new versions of the add-on appear under Dashboard → Updates like any other plugin. Each package is checked against the published release and Avakode’s signature before it is installed, and refused if it does not match.
